Bayside Riders Ride Cancellation Policy
While we're not one to shy away from a little cold and rain, there are some times when we feel it necessary to cancel a scheduled ride.
Conditions that warrant cancelling a ride are:
Cold: We know from experience that riding while your teeth are chattering taints the whole cycling experience.
Rain: Getting caught in it while riding is one thing - starting out in it is where we draw the line.
Hurricanes: Duh.
What we will do: A club decision will be made by 8PM the night before a ride regarding cancellation. In the event we cancel a ride,
a) we will send out an email to the club stating the ride has been canceled and
b) the event on our ride calendar on the website will be updated to reflect the cancellation.
In the event the weather turns on us as we're meeting for a ride, the ride will be canceled and a BRC officer will
remain at the ride meeting location (until the published Kick Stands Up time) in order to update riders.
